Presented by Northwell Health, Face of America Liberty 2017 from national non-profit World T.E.A.M. Sports is an inspiring one day ride by bicycle and hand cycle to the World Trade Center in New York, New York. Bringing together civilians with retired and active military and first responders, including adaptive military veterans and civilians from across the United States, this second-year ride shows the incredible power of teamwork and cooperation.
Riding more than 50 miles in a single day, you will participate in a growing event that will inspire and satisfy you. Face of America Liberty provides an exceptional opportunity to join a community of caring people, both able-bodied and disabled, who ride the same road in honoring military veterans and first responders who have given so much in their service.
Created and managed by World T.E.A.M Sports, Face of America Liberty 2017 has a limited number of participant and volunteer entries through all categories. Owing to the limited numbers, early registration is highly encouraged.
Adaptive military veterans, first responders and civilians with disabilities ranging from loss of limb to paralysis to blindness to Post-Traumatic Stress participate at no cost. All other participants pay a nominal registration fee and are expected to meet or exceed modest category minimum fundraising goals. Funds raised through participant donations and fundraising with family, friends and colleagues will cover the expenses of the event. Any remaining funds raised will support upcoming World T.E.A.M. Sports events nationally.
This October 8, Face of America Liberty changes lives through cycling.
